Description

Marsh wardens once warned that the deepest pools were connected to seas no map had ever recorded. During moonless floods, something long-snouted and armour-skinned was said to rise through the reeds, leaving broken traps and rows of teeth behind. They named it the Swamp Shark—not because it belonged there, but because no safer name seemed appropriate. One preserved likeness was later found nailed above an abandoned watch hut, its patterned hide marked with pale currents and flashes of marsh-green around the eyes. Whether it served as a warning, a trophy or an invitation remains uncertain. Sensible travellers simply kept away from the water.

About this piece

The Swamp Shark is a 3D printed fantasy predator wall sculpture with an open jaw, prominent teeth and a bold monochrome layered finish.

Its long angular head projects from a broad, finned body, creating the impression of a creature breaking through the wall. Black, white and grey layers form swirling patterns across the sculpted surface, while small green details around the eye and body add an eerie trace of colour.

Materials and finish

Made from PLA using a multi-colour 3D printing process. The black, white and grey layers create the flowing graphic pattern across the sculpted form, with green accent details visible in selected areas.

Each item is 3D printed with care. Fine layer lines and small colour variations are natural characteristics of the process, making every piece subtly unique.
