The first Abyssal Reach surfaced beneath a wrecked observatory, curled around a brass instrument no scholar could identify. When the relic was removed, the tentacle followed it ashore and refused every attempt at containment. It ignored food, salt water and several increasingly desperate warding circles, yet settled immediately when offered a gaming controller. Since then, smaller specimens have been trained as desk guardians, lifting prized gear above the clutter with a single patient coil. They remain remarkably well behaved, provided nobody asks what the suckers are listening for beneath the floorboards.

About this piece

The Abyssal Reach is a 3D printed tentacle controller stand designed to support a compatible Xbox wireless controller in an upright display position.

A broad sea-creature limb rises from a sculpted base before curling around the side of the controller to form a dramatic cradle. Raised sucker details cover the outer surface, while the pictured filament transitions from bright green through teal into deep blue.

Materials and finish

Made from PLA using a colour-transition 3D printing process. The pictured finish moves through green, teal and blue tones, with the exact colour placement varying between prints.

Each item is 3D printed with care. Fine layer lines and small colour variations are natural characteristics of the process, making every piece subtly unique.

Compatibility
