Dream Marsh Axolotl | Glow-in-the-Dark Wall Art

Where the Dream Marsh grows quiet, a small guardian waits beneath the luminous reeds. Its frilled gills ripple with impossible colour, while its wide eyes watch for the first signs of creeping dullness. Old marshkeepers claimed the creature appeared wherever imagination had begun to fade: an empty wall, an abandoned gaming den or a corner cursed with far too much beige. During the day, its markings blazed in strange neon bands. After nightfall, those same patterns released the light they had gathered, leaving the little guardian glowing softly in the dark. It demanded no tribute beyond a bright lamp, a good view and permission to look gloriously peculiar.

About this piece

The Dream Marsh Axolotl is a 3D printed glow-in-the-dark wall decoration with an expressive amphibian face, sweeping external gills and intensely layered colour.

Purple, pink, black and pale filament form rippling patterns across the face and feathery gills. After exposure to a suitable light source, selected areas emit a soft green glow in darkness, transforming the design from colourful fantasy artwork into an eerie little marsh spirit.

Materials and finish

Made from PLA using a multi-colour 3D printing process, including glow-in-the-dark PLA for the illuminated areas.

Each item is 3D printed with care. Fine layer lines and small colour variations are natural characteristics of the process, making every piece subtly unique.

Glow effect

Expose the glowing areas to a strong light source before viewing the piece in darkness. Glow brightness and duration will vary according to the strength of the light, exposure time and darkness of the room.

The glow is a decorative afterglow rather than an electrically powered light. No batteries or lighting components are included.

Mounting

The piece includes a rear hanging hole so it can be placed over a suitable wall screw. It is also supplied with removable double-sided adhesive mounting strips for customers who prefer not to use a screw. Wall pieces normally include two strips, while larger or heavier designs may include three.

Apply the strips only to clean, dry and sound surfaces. Adhesive performance and clean removal depend on the wall surface, paint condition and correct application. Remove them slowly to reduce the risk of damage to delicate paint, wallpaper or unstable finishes.
