Story
Legend says that in Belas, Portugal, a maker found a way to tame dragons… layer by layer. That is how DragonLayers was born: part magical forge, part workshop laboratory, and fully dedicated to functional fantasy pieces with personality.
Our party

We create articulated dragons, dark fantasy wall art, gothic decor, LED-friendly pieces, bookish accessories, and unusual gifts for shelves, gaming rooms, desks, and reading corners. Every piece is made physically, not mass-produced by magic. Subtle layer lines and small finish variations are part of the craft.
How we work
Most pieces are made in small batches or to order. This keeps waste low, lets us control quality, and gives each print the attention it deserves. If something does not pass our quality check, it gets a reroll before it ever reaches a customer.

Want a different colour, finish, pattern, or scale? Contact us at info@dragonlayers.com. We will check technical feasibility first and give you a clear answer. If it can be made beautifully and durably, we will tell you how. If not, we will say so honestly.
Made for real homes
- PLA: ideal for indoor display; it should be kept away from high heat.
- PETG: tougher and more temperature-resistant, while still needing sensible care.
- Planters and decorative containers: we recommend using an inner liner where moisture is involved.
- Other materials may be used for special requirements where appropriate.
Safety
Our products are not toys. Keep them out of reach of small children and pets. Some items may contain small parts, sharp decorative points, magnets, glued parts, or cyanoacrylate adhesive. Product pages include relevant care and safety notes where needed.

Approach
At DragonLayers, we turn ideas into decorative and collectible pieces through 3D printing, built layer by layer in Belas, Portugal. We mainly work with PLA and PETG, chosen for reliable indoor display, colour variety, and practical durability.
Every item is made as a crafted object. Small layer lines, minor colour shifts, and natural variations are normal features of the process. We produce in small batches and accept custom requests when the design, material, and finish can be made safely and well.
