DreamSmoke Crescent | Skull Wall Art

Beyond the ash fields, nomad camps once hung crescent-shaped relics beside the places where their people slept. They called them DreamSmoke totems, believing each open skull could draw troubled visions from the mind and trap them among its curling vapours. By morning, the sleeper might wake unburdened—or hear something whispering from within the hollow eye sockets. No two accounts agreed on what happened to the dreams afterwards. Some were said to dissolve with the dawn. Others remained caught in the carved spirals, gathering night after night until the relic began dreaming for itself.

About this piece

The DreamSmoke Crescent is a 3D printed skull wall sculpture combining gothic imagery with flowing, highly textured fantasy ornament.

A monstrous skull dominates the centre of the design, its jaws stretched open between rows of sharp teeth. A broad crescent curves around the skull while swirling smoke-like forms spill across the lower edge, creating an asymmetrical silhouette filled with movement. Contrasting purple and white layers emphasise the eyes, teeth, ridges and spiralling surface details.

Materials and finish

Made from PLA using a multi-colour 3D printing process. The purple and white details are formed through layered filament, with no painted finish.

Each item is 3D printed with care. Fine layer lines and small colour variations are natural characteristics of the process, making every piece subtly unique.
