The Tidebound Kraken was discovered in a harbour warehouse beneath a stack of abandoned gaming gear. Rather than dragging the equipment into the deep, the creature had arranged each controller carefully between its tentacles and refused to surrender them until the harbourmaster offered a bowl of polished dice. Since then, smaller tame specimens have appeared on desks across the realm, guarding controllers with the solemn pride of ancient sea monsters and the practical instincts of very organised squids. This one asks for no ship, no tribute and no terrified crew—only a compatible controller to hold between adventures.

About this piece

The Tidebound Kraken is a 3D printed controller stand shaped like a stylised octopus or sea monster, created to hold a compatible Xbox controller upright for display.

Its rounded mantle rises behind the controller while curled tentacles and sculpted limbs form the supporting cradle. The pictured finish moves through warm coral, copper, blue and green tones, with raised spiral markings adding extra detail across the body and arms.
