One peered from above, another drifted through the centre, and the smallest settled near the floor as though guarding a doorway no living reader could see. They caused no harm, stole no books and seemed offended only by empty shelves. The archivists named the haunt the Whispering Shelf and agreed to leave it undisturbed. Now these quiet little spirits can keep watch over your own collection, adding a playful haunting to novels, grimoires and treasured tales.

About this piece

The Whispering Shelf is a 3D printed ghost book nook featuring three smooth white spirits arranged inside a slim black rectangular frame.

Designed to sit between books, the piece creates the impression of a tiny haunted passage hidden within the shelf. Each ghost has a different pose and expression, with dark openings in the eyes and mouth adding contrast against the pale finish.
